Vetter UK played an integral part in the delivery of this iconic new building undertaking the installation of the external cladding package, alongside the internal flooring, external paving and the creation of a water feature and planter wall cladding.

To create the striking new external façade, our team were responsible for the installation of 751 red brick on precast panels in a variety of different shapes and sizes. The precast panels were manufactured by our sister company Explore Manufacturing at their Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction facility in Steetley, Nottinghamshire and transported to site by Explore Plant and Transport Solutions, before being lifted into place by Select Plant Hire.

During the complex installation, our team had to overcome several challenges to ensure the works were delivered right first time. A lack of space between the building structure and the precast concrete panels at various points across the development made the installation particularly difficult, and with most of the work being undertaken during the winter months, our team also had to deal with extreme cold and strong winds, especially when installing at higher levels.

Within the internal courtyard stands a water feature containing approximately 30,000 bricks. A long and complex part of the works, each brick was individually laid by our incredible team to create a beautiful, peaceful outdoor space for the residentials. Internally, we also delivered the Italian terrazzo tiling to all lift lobbies, the amenity area and concierge, the terrazzo paving to the external courtyard and granite thresholds to all market apartments, as well as the planter wall cladding to the level 10 terrace.
