The new line extends the Charing Cross branch of the Northern Line from Kennington to a new terminus station at Battersea Power Station, with a new intermediate station at Nine Elms.
Vetter UK were responsible for the design, supply and installation of 1,240m² of reconstituted polished concrete external cladding and approx 2780m² of GRC cladding to the internal/external spaces of both Nine Elms & Battersea.
To enable the safe installation of the high level GRC panels to the inside walls of Battersea station, a bespoke aluminium scaffold tower was made and installed above the escalators.
